Roderick was born by Natural Lycanthrope parents, both werepanther. His parents raised him as one of the diamond cats’ pride. Teaching him about the great task which was handed down from Lyssra to discover the secret of the universe. By exploring their inner, emotional lives and spiritual energy and to find enlightenment in quiet meditation and careful study of one’s inner, ki energy.
Roderick was trained in unarmed combat and taught him how to control his abilities by his parents. They showed him how the world views their kind. Not to be ashamed of whom he is but to hide it for his protection when around others.
Upon reaching adulthood he left to find his own path and to let his curiosity be his guide. His parents gave him some travel wear. A dark gray robe with Lyssra symbol on the lapel, boots and a coin bag both also marked with Lyssra’s open book symbol.
Saying goodbye he changed into him panther form and saw the reason for the gifts. As in the past he was accustom to having his robes fall off. These items seemed to change with them. Taking one last look at the temple he called home before running as fast as he could.
